The objective was to create a visual identity for the first annual long table event in Surrey, which must embody the city’s multiculturalism and celebrate its thriving community. The event's target audience are professionals who live and work in Downtown Surrey.
The visual identity of the event exudes its fun, yet professional attitude through the use of colour, triangular shapes reminiscent of party pennants, a combination of a quirky serif typeface with a sans serif typeface and a minimalist aesthetic that appeals to professionals of various ages. This visual identity was kept consistent on print materials such as tickets and newspaper ads.
